Semillas de Estrella or ’Seeds of Stars’ looks across various organizations and communities to direct and create new ways for farmers, consumers and chefs to engage with their work while lifting them and the environment up, resulting in a more harmonious existence for all.
By reengaging with our connection to the Earth and through the recognition that we as people contain the potential and energy, much like a seed, to change the current trajectory of our agricultural system, we at Semillas de Estrella believe that by creating awareness to organizations and their efforts in agroforestry, soil management, seed saving and sharing, regenerative business, restoration of natural biodiversity, and the promotion of local, indigenous knowledge and agroecological methods, we can effectively contribute to securing a new future for generations to come.
Semillas de Estrella, ‘Seeds of Stars’
is a US-Based 501(c)3 non-profit, formed in 2019 out of the realization and understanding that Ecuador and organizations within the country were offering the world a new direction for agriculture, re-forestation, and an alternative way to participate with community and Mother Earth.
